Mission and goal: To bring together advocacy organizations, and to contribute to make easier for individuals and families to get diagnosis, genetic counseling and treatment.
Goals:
. to promote awareness about genetic conditions
. to serve as a contact center for genetic advocacy organizations
. to gather data for a Brazilian genetic database
. to build up a network of genetic information
. to promote and further early detection, accurate diagnosis, counseling and timely access to care and treatment
. to promote research into prevention and treatment of genetic conditions and the development of networks of genetic services
. to leverage the voices of people living with special genetic conditions in Brazil
